Is Nutrition Clinic a health food store?
No. Nutrition Clinic uses professional lines of supplements and herbs, which are available only through health professionals. Due to the changing biochemistry of one’s body, at least one consultation is required annually in order to purchase and refill supplements. There are only four exceptions to this: a multiple vitamin and mineral supplement called Catalyn; a vitamin E complex topical called USF Ointment; an immune support called Congaplex; and protein/energy bars called Standard Bars. These may be purchased without a consultation.
How does Nutrition Clinic help patients?
Nutrition Clinic helps patients by creating an individualized program of dietary guidance and supplemental nutrients. The program is monitored and adjusted as the patient progresses in attaining his or her health goals.
Why does Nutrition Clinic use supplements?
Nutrition Clinic uses whole food supplements to significantly subsidize the nutrients available to the patient’s glands, organs, tissues, and systems for fast repair and optimal function.
What do you mean by the term “whole food nutrition?”
Whole Food Nutrition means that nutrients are derived from quality food rather than manufactured in a chemistry laboratory. The food is considered “whole” if the original nutrient packages (vitamin complexes, minerals, and enzymes) remain intact. So much of the original nutrient diversity of food available to the American public has been destroyed or significantly compromised in its growing, processing, and storing. Whole food provides the nutrients that the body is designed to know how to use in order to maintain optimal health.
Do you use drugs at Nutrition Clinic?
No drugs are used at Nutrition Clinic.
How many visits do patients need for care?
This depends upon the degree of the health challenges an individual patient presents. Many of our patients come in regularly for overall health maintenance.
How much does it cost for care at Nutrition Clinic?
Nutritional consultation fees can be found under the “Services” tab. Others services, tests, and assessments vary in price. Supplement programs also vary depending upon the needs of each patient. If there are monetary concerns, the doctors and practitioners can work within your budget by prioritizing your health objectives.
Does insurance cover Nutrition Clinic care?
Insurance companies are just beginning to cover some of the services, tests, and supplements offered at Nutrition Clinic. When requested, insurance codes are provided to the patient who in turn contacts his or her insurance provider to request reimbursement. Unfortunately, such coverage is not common at this point. As insurance coverage expands, it will be available to our patients. Insurance companies are awakening to the fact that the kind of care available at Nutrition Clinic may save them and the patient significant money as some surgeries and drugs become unnecessary. The insurance providers who have paid for some of our care include Aetna and Blue Cross.

Nutrition Clinic is dedicated to the education of our patients and the public. Therefore lectures/seminars are offered on many health topics. Information on our upcoming events can be found under the “Education” tab.
